Eco-Friendly Commercial Cleaning in Bozeman, MT

People in the Gallatin Valley care about the outdoors: the Bridgers, the Gallatin River, the trails that start at the edge of town. Many Bozeman businesses want their cleaning to reflect that. Exec U Care Services has long been committed to eco-friendly products and environmentally sound equipment, and green cleaning is available on any recurring commercial contract.

What green cleaning means here

Green cleaning isn't a different level of clean. It's the same standard, reached with less environmental and health impact:

• Lower-impact products. We use the best available eco-friendly cleaning products wherever they do the job. If you want to learn more about how safer cleaning products are evaluated, EPA's Safer Choice program is a good public resource.

• Modern, environmentally sound equipment. Up-to-date equipment and tools chosen to reduce waste, water and chemical use.

• Right product, right amount. Over-using chemicals wastes money and leaves residue. Measured dilution and targeted use cut both.

• Recycling support. We empty and sort recycling the way your building and hauler require.

Supplies included

Exec U Care provides all the supplies for your service, including cleaning products, restroom paper and hand soap, so choosing greener products is our job, not yours. You get the benefit without having to research or stock anything.

Healthier indoor air

Montanans spend long winters indoors with windows closed, so indoor air quality matters. EPA notes that indoor air can carry pollutants from many sources, including some cleaning products (see EPA's introduction to indoor air quality). Choosing lower-emission products and avoiding unnecessary fragrances and aerosols can help. During wildfire smoke season, regular dusting and vacuuming also help with the fine particles that make their way inside (more in our fire season post).

Green doesn't mean skipping disinfection

Some situations call for disinfection, such as restrooms, high-touch points and illness in the office. When they do, we use EPA-registered disinfectants and follow the label, choosing lower-impact options from those lists where possible. A green program uses disinfectants deliberately, not everywhere. See disinfection services.

Starting a greener workplace

Cleaning is one part of it. If your team wants to go further, our post on how to start a workplace recycling program is a practical place to start, and EPA's recycling resources cover what can be recycled and why.

Available on every contract

Green cleaning can be part of any office cleaning or janitorial plan in Bozeman and across our service area. Just ask for it at your walkthrough.

Questions to ask any cleaning company about "green"

• Which products do you use, and why did you choose them?

• How do you avoid over-using chemicals?

• How do you decide when disinfection is actually needed?

• What happens to recycling once it leaves the bins?

• Can you avoid added fragrances for staff with sensitivities?

We're happy to answer each of these during your walkthrough, in writing if you'd like. Green claims should be specific and verifiable, and that's the standard we hold ourselves to.
